Brothers and Sisters, As the Ocean City Reunion and Fallen Heroes Memorial Service approaches, we have received a request from Maryland COPS. Our Reunion coincides (intentionally) with a COPS survivors event also at the Grand. Many of you have gone to bid on the items at the Silent Auction during the reunion, which supports COPS. COPS is reaching out to us in the hopes of getting some donated items to put up for bid in the Silent Auction. Gift cards, donated items, event tickets, use of vacation properties, services, and monetary donations are all excellent types of things to donate. If you would like too and are able to donate to the Silent Auction there are a couple of options, lets us know that you are bringing an item to place in the Auction,and we will let Teresa Jensen Welch who is organizing the Silent Auction know, or if you would prefer mail it or drop it off at the Lodge by Friday, October 13 to the attention of Toni Frostbutter and she will get it to Ocean City for the auction. Last year our retirees really stepped up to plate as we always do and were very generous with donations. I am sure we will do the same this year. Fraternally, Diane Salen
